Having emerged back in the Shadowlands in the forbidden Elven Realm of Einnofen, Freddie, Tom, and their friends are caught by an Elven Ranger to be taken to the King in Yellow.
They must dare the Court of the King in Yellow, the shadowpaths, and the Kingdom under the Mountain before being faced with the seemingly impossible task to penetrate the Forbidding around the long-hidden Crystal City of the Fae.
